FREEDOM
is at the heart of my artistic work.
This means I decide what I want to explore in the creative process.
What moves me? What sparks my curiosity? Because my thoughts are free, my work is also free, and sometimes it's a challenge
to allow this freedom. Nevertheless, themes keep emerging that I return to.
I am fascinated by color itself and the possibilities that open up when I begin to mix and layer it, influencing its interactions.
Acrylic paints offer me the greatest freedom to take advantage of this opportunity.
Artistic freedom requires me to be courageous and engage with the process time and again. Because when I'm working creatively,
I can't hide. How I feel, how I'm doing, I convey all of this in my work, not only consciously but also unconsciously.
In all my creative endeavors, it's essential for me that I do them with joy and that they energize me.
Enjoy!
